Service Policies & Operating Guidelines

Pathfinder Towing operates under clear safety standards, transparent dispatch practices, and mutual customer expectations across King and Pierce Counties.

  • 9 operational policies
  • Safety first protocol

Our priority on every call is the physical safety of drivers, motorists, and the preservation of vehicle integrity. Review our terms below.

01
Policy 01

Service Availability

Service is subject to truck availability, location, traffic, weather, vehicle condition, access conditions, equipment capability and safety considerations. Pathfinder may decline or stop a service that cannot be handled safely or lawfully.

02
Policy 02

Quotes & Pricing

Phone, text and online estimates are based on information provided by the customer. Final charges may change when mileage, access, vehicle condition, recovery difficulty, waiting time, special equipment, tolls or other job requirements differ materially from the information originally provided.

03
Policy 03

Customer Authorization

The person requesting service represents that they own the vehicle or have authorization to request towing, roadside assistance or transport. Pathfinder may decline service when authorization is unclear.

04
Policy 04

Vehicle Condition

Customers should disclose known mechanical problems, collision damage, low ground clearance, modified suspension, locked or missing wheels, inaccessible keys and other conditions that may affect loading or transport. Pathfinder may document visible vehicle condition before service.

05
Policy 05

Personal Property

Customers should remove valuables and unsecured personal items when reasonably possible. Responsibility for personal property remains subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the service.

06
Policy 06

Cancellation & Waiting

A dispatch, cancellation or waiting charge may apply when disclosed and applicable after a truck has been dispatched, substantial travel has occurred, or delays are caused by access, keys, paperwork or other conditions outside the driver's control.

07
Policy 07

Roadside Assistance

A jump start does not guarantee the battery, alternator or vehicle will continue operating. Tire-change service requires a usable spare and safe lifting conditions. Fuel delivery does not repair mechanical problems. Lockout service may not be available for every vehicle.

08
Policy 08

Recovery

Recovery work can involve changing conditions and additional time or equipment. Customers and bystanders must follow the operator's safety directions and remain clear of the work area.

09
Policy 09

Arrival Times

Any arrival time is an estimate, not a guarantee. Traffic, weather, road closures, active incidents and earlier calls may affect response time.
